Churches and Cathedrals

Select one of the churches, abbeys, cathedrals, or baptisteries from the list below. Write a thorough paper discussing the characteristics and historical information surrounding the church. Who was responsible for its construction or creation, who did it serve, what type of structure is it, what is unique about it, were there various stages in its development? These are the types of questions you may ask as you pursue your research, but please include any additional information that might enhance your paper. Typed five to seven pages. Include a bibliography and cite your information. Photocopies of examples are not required but they are helpful.
