Welcome to thestudioarts.com This site contains a selection of paintings, drawings, and prints by the artist, Monty Helm. The art images here represent various periods, styles, and media, Helm has worked in since 1978 to the present. Helm studied art at Pratt Institute in New York City in the late 1970's and later received his M.F.A from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Helm's paintings are included in numerous private, public, corporate, and museum collections throughout the United States. His studio is located in Western, Kentucky. Currently, Helm is the head of the art department at Owensboro Community and Technical College in Owensboro, Kentucky. The artworks available for purchase are so designated in the individual enlargement pages . For sales information go to the "Contact the Artist". Studio visits are by appointment only.
